Cookie notice
Draft, version 2026-09-26-draft. The final text follows the review by TROTTERA's lawyer (decision C3). Every number comes from the auction settings as they apply this week.
TROTTERA places cookies only where the site cannot work without them. That is why there is no cookie banner: the law does not require consent for strictly necessary cookies, and TROTTERA has no others.
1. The cookies
Sign-in session: a cookie that keeps you signed in after you have signed in, set by the login service (Supabase) and removed when you sign out or after it expires.
Language: a cookie that remembers whether you read TROTTERA in English or Dutch, for a year.
Pending e-mail address: a cookie that remembers, for 30 minutes after you register, which address the confirmation e-mail went to, so the page can offer to send it again.
Previews only: Vercel's deployment protection may set a cookie to let you through to a test version of the site.
2. What TROTTERA does not do
No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no social media buttons, no tracking across other sites. Error reports go to Sentry without cookies and without personal data. The video player of Cloudflare is loaded only on the page of a horse with a video and sets no cookies of its own for tracking.
3. If this changes
Should TROTTERA ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, it will ask your consent first with a banner, and this notice will say so. This notice has a version and a date.
